Jonathan A. Bourget is the founder and Managing Director of Apis Rex Consultants. He has over 20 years’ experience in senior executive positions with multinational companies and work experience in Europe, North America, and China.

His career began in the metals industry, within a global aluminium company’s corporate development team, where he took part in large M&A projects in Russia, Italy and Spain. In 1999 he was made General Manager and successfully ran 3 increasingly large business units of up to $400 million sales. He led the re-structuring and turnaround of several manufacturing sites, the implementation of LEAN manufacturing principles, and the construction of a greenfield facility in Romania.

Mr. Bourget moved from the metals industry to the nonwovens industry in 2007, when he held the position of Vice President & General Manager of PGI (AVINTIV) in Europe. In 2010, he joined Glatfelter as their Vice President & General Manager, to lead the post-merger integration and growth of their newly acquired airlaid division. During his tenure at Glatfelter, his business unit doubled EBITDA margins, increased operating profit 6-fold, and initiated business expansion into China.

Mr Bourget graduated Summa cum Laude with an MBA from Business School Lausanne. He is fluent in English, French, Italian and Spanish, and speaks some German.
